Eastern Cape Sport Association for the Intellectually Impaired is proud to announce that the SASA-II National Age Group Summer Games will be held in Port Elizabeth from the 06 March – 11 March 2016.
Sport is a crucial part of the lives of the world’s population. It offers to persons with intellectual disability the same values, pleasures and satisfaction. In addition it is an invaluable means by which social, physical and psychological skills can be taught and learned.
The participating provinces are Free State, Gauteng, Kwazulu-Natal, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape, North West, Western Cape and the hosts Eastern Cape. This is an annual event for persons with an intellectual disability, where the above-mentioned provinces will be competing in the codes of Blackball, Cricket, Hocker, Indoor Rowing, Swimming and Table Tennis.
